Cardea Training Team
Training Dates & Registration: All of the Cardea offered trainings are comprehensive Positive Prevention Plus courses. Trainings will cover all of the core skills teachers need to effectively implement comprehensive sexual health education. Please note the open session dates and times below. A reminder that all of the Cardea open enrollment trainings will be held virtually, and refresher sessions are only for educators who have received the complete comprehensive sexual health training in the last 3 years.
Cardea's Open Trainings
- Make sure to register for each training in advance.
- Check the course page in the Cardea Training Center for instructions and schedule information.
- Follow any directions for pre-work before your training.
- When you register, make sure to purchase your teacher edition curriculum binder that is needed at the training.
March Open Trainings
Middle and High School
Core Skills & Curriculum Review – 2018 & 2021 editions
Live Virtual Session: Friday 3/1 8:00 – 3:30 pm (PT) & 5 hours of self-paced eLearning modules.
***Each attendee must have a Teacher Edition curriculum binder available to them during a training***
Upper Elementary
Core Skills & Curriculum Review – 2017 & 2023 editions
Live Virtual Session: Tuesday 3/12 8:00 – 3:30 pm (PT) & 4 hours of self-paced eLearning modules.

Scheduling Disclaimer: If we don’t have enough participants registered for an effective session one week before an open enrollment training is scheduled to take place, we will postpone the session. Anyone who is registered for a training that is postponed will have the choice of a refund or credited enrollment towards a similar open enrollment training in the future! Thank you for understanding.
