Comprehensive Sexual Health & HIV/AIDS Instruction
California Department of Education states that comprehensive sexual health education and HIV prevention education shall be taught by instructors trained in the appropriate courses. Education Code (EC) 51935 requires school districts to cooperatively plan and conduct in-service training for all teachers and school employees who provide HIV prevention instruction.
